For those Artists and Travelers coming to party with us during the Australian Watercolour Muster – 2019

We thought we would lure you out to some of our most sacred and exciting landscapes we have in Australia – particularly an opportunity for the ‘Internationals’ amongst you – but also local Artists who would like to take this opportunity to extend their painting and travel experience to what is probably on your bucket list – to do – Central Australia – Uluru – Kata Tjuta!!

We need a minimum of 15 People to make this happen – make a call out to friends and let us know by selecting the RSVP for the number in your Group – thanks more details as we discuss this with you – so opportunities to tailor this trip to suit you needs and ideas.

Explore the Colours of the Scottish Lochs – with Aussie Artist – Wyn Vogel …. just back from Scotland

The colours and shapes of the Scottish Loch’s reach out an envelop you – their ancient stories caught in the rocks and mist, ruins emerging as you explore …….. soft greys of the moors and rugged rocks. We will explore these colours and shapes during our full day Workshop at St Mary’s Anglican Church – Kangaroo Point 10am to 4pm on Saturday 6th July 2019 – bring your paints, paper and brushes and a picnic lunch.

Create and build you knowledge of the beauty we find in our native – Australian Flora

Australia’s unique Flora has an earthy colouring and hidden beauty that needs to be considered closely – this Workshop would work for both locals and visitors to our beautiful city of Brisbane!

Learning from the mixing of the colour palette in Workshop 1 – you will be in a good position to take the colours of our Coastal Banksia and Flowering Gum Trees to create a magnificent memory of your night on the Kangaroo Point cliffs!

Workshop 2: Build Your Sky – Learn Urban Painting Techniques – Working with a view across the Brisbane River to the CBD
Come 1/2 hour early if possible – and we will sit and sketch as the sun goes down from the top of Kangaroo Point Cliffs – and then withdraw to the St Mary’s Parish Hall to work on your washes!

Only 2 hours – but if you find this Workshop helpful – we can organise a more in-depth Workshop for you over a Saturday or a Wednesday – perhaps in agreement with the ‘Kangaroo Point Painters’ who still meet on a Wednesday in the Church Hall!
