Painted Sitting outside the gate of the Homestead – St George – April 2026 – we did go inside for morning tea and a guided tour!
This gorgeous old lady was once part of Cubbie Station – the largest irrigated Cotton Farm in the world – https://cubbie.com.au/
So the Property has gone through many generations of change and is now owned fully by the Macquarie Asset Management!
The Anchorage Homestead has recently been resold as well – and hopefully this brings new life and care for this beautiful old Homestead!
The trees and foliage were rampant and we forget to take our reference photos – ROOKIES – painting plein air 😅 sadly – it is highly recommended that any time your painting outdoors you take your reference photos for future use!
