".......My wabisabi jewellery reflects my love and respect for things that are old, recycled, rustic, weathered and everyday. These objects have a history – a time, place and purpose of origin and a connection with previous owners………using non precious metals and materials, and a strong and simple sense of design, I give my found objects a new lease of life. Much of my jewellery is created from reclaimed antiques silver plated [EPNS] trays. Heat treating creates a variety of textures and patinas. Components are then shaped, filed, soldered, polished and combined with other elements to produce individual, unique adornments..." The jewellery can be maintained in the same way as sterling silver jewellery. Liquid silver dips rather than abrasive pastes will keep the shine and lustre. Black neoprene [rubber] cords can be straightened by immersing in very hot water for a short time. this will not affect the metals. We freight by secure transport and details for this are calculated on the shopping cart - if you have any inquires please contact us - especially if we are freighting for you overseas to ensure delivery details are clear - thanks!
