Yaroomba Beach is a marvelous haunt for Artist – Wyn Vogel – every year we run an Art Residency there and invite different International Artists to join us there to Workshop and relax!
This ‘Walk’ to the beach often brings the surprise of turtles and other small sea creatures hiding in the sand!

As a girl coming to Queensland from the Blue Mountains in NSW and then settling here, these amazing twisted branches of the Coastal Banksia - crowned with the soft brush of their flower, has almost a velvet centre and have been for me the symbol of a visit to the beach - the sight and touch of times at the beach!
