I've been experimenting with the beautiful vibrant colours of MaimeriBlu Paints and this week let loose on a subject close to my heart.
As a girl coming to Queensland from the Blue Mountains in NSW and then settling here, these amazing twisted branches of the Coastal Banksia - crowned with the soft brush of their flower, has almost a velvet centre and have been for me the symbol of a visit to the beach - the sight and touch of times at the beach!
