The Bones of Your Painting Are The Important Thing – medium plays the next big role …..!

Workshop Details

Re-live your favourite travel destinations in this workshop for all skill levels. Bring along a photo of a street scene or landscape and recreate it in your preferred medium – watercolour, oil, acrylic, pastel, pen& ink… Artist Des Lambert will share his tips and techniques to paint from your travel photos.

Des works in a variety of styles and mediums – samples of his work are shown above and below. He will guide you through the process of using photo references to create a compelling and satisfying work of art. This includes how to identify the essence of what you want to capture from a treasured scene and then select what to keep, remove and re-imagine, all underpinned by a solid drawing foundation.
