April ’21 – Workshop Samples below!
We packed our car and headed out on the road to Workshop with the creative talents of Maryborough, Bundaberg – thanks to all the support from Wide Bay Art Materials – Bette and Tammy and the Bundaberg Art Society – President Marilyn Batty and her team – especially Eleanor who kept me together … life and limb with lunch each day ,,, thanks so much!
Maryborough Workshop – Waterfalls and Textures in the Landscape!
Bundaberg – More colour crept into the painting as we moved north!
Loving the cascades of the Waterfalls in these Works above!
Then back to Brisbane and down to the Gold Coast – to Workshop with participants in the newly refurbished Eckersley’s Gold Coast – Labrador Store, again so much fun with great students of all ages – amazing stories from some like Elizabeth who tells me she hasn’t painted since 1957 in primary school……..!
Trained as a ‘Colour Consultant’ and working in interior design all her life she was excited to add colour to the textures in her rocks!
So inspiring to hear stories like this and see the pleasure of discovery in their Work! – Below: Sascha and Judy, again exploring and sharing paints – getting the feel of Watercolour!
Below: Leonie – Working with some gorgeous sepia tones in her inks!
Totally absorbed: Lorraine – drying her Work!
