The Aera Artist Club in Fabriano – Italy was packed with a 1st night crowd wanting to see the best of the best – artists from over 70 countries were packed into the Club and here was Richard – our Australian Artist Representative on show on this 1st night – NO PRESSURE !!
Richard Tiejun Chao – took to the stage under lights and on a tight time frame of 45 minutes to produce the most amazing watercolour portraiture work, very classy and professional!! Richard is our chosen Australian Representative Artist for 2018 – thanks Richard for this amazing honour to have you on board!!
Under lights – with the atmosphere was electric – 2 projectors running – 2 Artists working side by side – on separate tables but both producing portraits – Anna Massinissa was stoked – and commented that ‘……….. life is a funny thing…. with respect to the way things work out….’ I can only agree!! Spectacular moments for the whole time we were there in Fabriano – Italy!!
Prior to this presentation at the Aera Artist Club – we were welcomed to FabrianoInAcquarello – by Anna and were invited to introduce our Team!!
The 1st afternoon – In the courtyard of one of the oldest Monasteries – Monastero delle Cappuccine, via Cavour …..rugged up after our big flight from Down Under – ready for what proved to be an amazing 6 days at one of the biggest Watercolour Meetups in the World – FabrianoInAcquarello – 2018 with 70 countries in attendance – represented by over 1,500 artists!! ?!!
