The amazing thing about the Brisbane art community – is it’s diversity and strength!
Heading out to see an amazing Exhibition by an old friend in a new space – I discovered yet another great connection in this community and at the same time was delighted by the Work of one of our strongest Brisbane Print Makers – Kay Watanabe.
Kay has evolved her work from Dry-point, Cyanotype to Stencil, Chine-collé and Collagraph amongst many other experimental digital and giclee printing techniques.
Many of these have come to play in this current Exhibition at Side Gallery –
Red Hill – Brisbane – July 29 – 16th August 2019.
Kay’s Work hung well in this space – giving her exploration of the relationships with plants and our human psyche – you have until the 16th August ’19 to visit, buy off the wall and enjoy – highly recommend all these options!! 🌞
For the rest of the Work you have to visit ……………………….
Check their opening times for visiting | This gorgeous space is tucked away in the trees – as part of the complex associated with the design agency Designfront, in Red Hill, Brisbane.
