We’re celebrating a truly inspirational 10 Days – for this year’s
2018 Yaroomba Beach Art Residency
thanks to the energy and wonderful freedom Jonas has demonstrated in sharing his techniques and innovative ideas!
From the Opening Night – of The Horizon Festival – Jonas slotted into our Queensland way of life! Wife Sofie Weijosdotter-Pettersson has a specialist interest and PhD in the traditional Sami People of their native Sweden and so the Opening celebrations – with an Australian Indigenous Smoking Ceremony and Dancing by the Sunshine Coast Gubbi Gubbi Dancers struck a cord with them as well!
Opening of Horizon Festival 2018 and The Yaroomba Beach Art Residency
Opening Night of Horizon Festival on our beautiful Sunshine Coast Australia – The Gubbi Gubbi Dancers – entranced our Swedish Artist – Jonas Pettersson and wife Sofie – really building the expectations for his 2018 Yaroomba Beach – Art Residency as well 🌞
