The Road North to Noosa – SOLD

The Road North to Noosa

This drive is one of my favourite moments in a day – on the left the houses drop away to become the Noosa National Park with twisting Banksia and She Oaks – mixing with a plethora of other tropical beach plants ……… as you round the corners you catch a glimpse of what is to be the most welcoming swim in warm tropical blue waters – a little aqua tips the edges – then the car and/or the bike (as the cyclists peddle every weekend) tears you away until the next rise – follow the white line is a memory – a perfect day for memories given the rain we are experiencing!

Description

The detail – this was an exercise to explore the sages and greens of the water colours – the transparent ghosting that I love to use to capture my beach grasses and trees.

The coppers and colours as we twist along the road – the bank rising to the left and falling away to the water on the right!
Shades of my friend and French Artist – Muriel Buthier-Chartrain here with the sediments dropping out of my paints – We are back home in Australia and the Exhibition and Workshops were amazing – so much fun to share on this level with the Artists from France!! ?
