This Work is currently in Italy ready for Exhibition with other Artists Works from over 80 Countries – as part of the amazing annual – FabrianoInAcquarello – Italy Watercolour Symposium and from Italy will travel to Fort Worth Texas for a further Exhibition celebrating leading Artists from all over the World.

For this reason a Collector of Wyn’s Work is welcome to buy – but we would ask their permission and patience to receive the Work home to them physically by December 2024 – Purchase monies will be held in ‘Trust’ until the Artwork is delivered to the Buyer!

This series of Work is inspired by the fact that Artist Wyn Vogel is travelling to the Kimberley in August 2024 with a group of Artists to explore and paint the ‘Colours of the Kimberley’ as part of our Remote and Rural Painting Year for the Australian Watercolour Muster – 2024

Artists who travel and paint over this trip will be encouraged to select one of their original pieces from the trip to be part of an ‘Adjunct’ Exhibition for The Australian Watercolour Muster Biennale – 2025, which will be held in Cairns over September/October 2025 @ The Old Court House Gallery and surrounding environs of Cairns, North Queensland Australia!

The Work is currently unframed – however, if you would like us to suggest a style of framing and have this delivered framed we can work with you to do this 🌞

Artist Wyn Vogel has been The Australian Leader for FabrianoInAcquarello - Italy since 2018 and each year works with Australian Artists to take a selection of Australian Work for Exhibition in this amazing international Art Show. Wyn shares the impact of so many news items and information re the travail of the Mothers as they have tried to take their children to safety in the leaky boats from war torn countries to countries where perhaps a better life is possible. A very poignant story that will be an ice breaker in any situation as you hang and discuss the events and politics of our crazy world!

This artwork is now being release as part of the ‘Collection’ of Work that has travelled the world and been selected as a finalist for the Malaysian International Juried OnLIne Art Comp. 2022 Artist Wyn Vogel has been The Australian Leader for FabrianoInAcquarello – Italy since 2018, each year works with Australian Artists to take a selection of Australian Work for Exhibition in this amazing international Art Show. As a result of being known in Italy Wyn has met and worked with many other Leaders from countries associated with Fabriano and is invited to be part of other Exhibitions such as the Malaysian Events to showcase her Artwork. This particular piece of Work is also one of Wyn's allegorical series - touching on the Biblical story of Adam and Eve and the eternal fig leaf that Eve is usually depicted as wearing - but in this case she has put it behind her - extrapolated in size - and stands tall hoping to make a difference in our war torn world!
