This Artwork was painted en plain air on the verandah of the Mt Sturgeon Homestead – and completed recently in Artist – Wyn Vogel’s new Studio in Hamilton Victoria!
The inclusion of the Banksia Saxicola was part of Wyn’s discovery of the natural landscape having now moved closer to The Grampians and having time to absorb the detail of the Mountains.

The Islanders face the issues of global warming, now washing their palm trees and gardens and in some cases their homes away!The funding from the sale of this Artwork will go directly to the Carteret Island People to assist them with their relocation from their homeland Atolls to higher ground!
