Based in Queensland Australia – landscape and figurative artwork – worldwide locations – remote, coastal and urban Australia.
Media: Watercolour, acrylic inks on paper and canvas and other media.
Tony’s Focus is on interpretive painting – conveys character, spirit, mood, authenticity and portrays the character and spirit of his subject – landscape or figurative.
He has his home studio in Brisbane Australia and he also has a studio at Noosa on the Queensland Sunshine Coast. He travels widely on painting trips in Australia and elsewhere. An important part of his creative effort is in ‘en plein air’ painting, including painting in remote and urban Australia and participation in Urban Sketchers’ events in cities worldwide. He is a member of local and international art groups, and exhibits regularly in galleries and art shows . Tony was selected in FabrianoInAquarello international watercolour festival in Italy 2018 and 2019. He tutors workshops in ‘Expressive Watercolour’ and ‘Urban Sketch’ (pen/acrylic ink) periodically in Brisbane.
